August 10: BTC ETF saw net outflows of $145 million, ETH ETF saw outflows of 14.58 million, for a combined net outflow of $152 million. SOL ETF bucked the trend with a net inflow of $8.83 million.

But when extended to a 7-day window, BTC ETF still has net inflows of $443 million. This doesn’t look like institutions are selling off—it’s more like short-term profit taking. Total assets under management remain as high as $89.6 billion, and none of the 36 ETFs showed large-scale redemptions.

The Fear & Greed Index today is 29, which places it in the Fear range. The historical pattern is that below 29 is often a mid-term accumulation zone; only extreme fear (below 20) marks the true panic bottom.

The SOL ETF data is worth noting—on August 10, it continued to record positive net inflows. Market interest from institutions in the Solana ecosystem appears to be heating up.
