Last night I closed the $SKR position. That was probably the most comfortable trade of the week. The entry logic was actually simple: after a period of tight consolidation and shrinking volume on the daily chart, it suddenly surged with a breakout on increased volume. I watched it for three days and waited for a pullback to confirm before entering—no chasing. After entering, I set a cost-price level for defense. When it rose 5%, I moved the stop-loss to breakeven. Then I took profits in batches, and in the end I left two tenths of the position to ride the trend. This trade won because of discipline, not luck. After reviewing it, I’ve got three takeaways: don’t act without a signal, move the stop-loss to protect profits, and don’t chase the very last bit of the move. On the flip side, most of the losing trades I made before failed at at least one of these. Trading is just repeatedly doing the right things. I review every live trade like this.
