Ladies, why is the market targeting $PLTR right now? I don’t think it’s just because it’s up 1.78%.

More like, names like this start getting watched by both “trend-chasers” and “people looking for a landing spot for the AI narrative.”

I just finished updating a version of the login page at work, then took the subway back toward Tiantongyuan Road. On the way, I glanced at the leaderboard and saw it ranking near the top on the U.S. stock perpetuals gainers list, with solid trading volume too.

The biggest risk with stocks like this is that they’re all noise and no follow-through. But $PLTR doesn’t feel like one of those emotion-driven ones that shoots up and then dissipates.

On the one hand, it already sits in that big theme of “data, software, and AI application implementation.”

From what I understand, it’s not just a shell pitching pure concepts—it’s more about turning complex data and decision systems into something that can actually be used.

The market is willing to keep looking at companies like this now, not just because the words “AI” sound nice. It’s because people are starting to pick out which ones look more like they can truly meet demand.

On the other hand, you can also tell something from the level of attention.

In the last 24 hours, the trading volume is 52.37M USDT, with contract open interest of 70,723 lots, but the funding rate is still +0.0000%.

This combination is something I pay attention to.

It suggests that people are coming in and positions are stacking up, but the sentiment isn’t getting overheated.

A lot of stocks, when they get too hot, make me uneasy. If the funding rate starts to drift, I’m usually not inclined to chase. But $PLTR feels more like it’s still being traded seriously, not just a mindless rush.

One more thing: positioning.

It has touched as high as $179.64 during the day, then returned to around $172.29. That kind of movement isn’t exactly easygoing, but it also shows there’s disagreement around this area.

I’m bullish, precisely because the divergence hasn’t broken the structure.

If everyone were just one-sidedly shouting “great,” I’d actually want to stay away 😂

Of course, there’s a classic issue with tech growth stocks: people often inflate expectations too much.

If the narrative doesn’t keep getting supported afterward, or if market style suddenly shifts away from growth, these highly watched names can be really scary in terms of volatility.

So I’m bullish on it—not blindly charging in.

To be honest, $PLTR is drawing the market’s attention not only because it’s high on the leaderboard today. It also has both sector imagination and application-implementation expectations, and the heat on the trading screen hasn’t gone out of control.

I’d put a stock like this on a list for ongoing observation. I’m more comfortable with pullbacks than chasing highs.

These are my thoughts—you decide what to do with your money. $PLTR #U.S. stocks
