Upbit has added $RVN to its trading warning list and has suspended its deposit and withdrawal services.

The incident was triggered by a critical consensus vulnerability in the Ravencoin network, which has already been exploited. The first known invalid block appeared at block height 4,487,776. 2Miners and RavenMiner, which control the majority of the hashrate, are mining a chain that excludes the exploited branch from that height. If this chain becomes the dominant chain, it could trigger a deep chain reorganization of around three days.

The official Ravencoin team has advised exchanges to pause RVN deposits and withdrawals until the network stabilizes, and has warned that transactions confirmed after height 4,487,775 carry risks and should be handled with caution.

In the short term, users holding or following RVN are advised to monitor exchange announcements and official updates, and to watch out for rollback and double-spend risks caused by on-chain reorganizations.
