☯️ 8.11|Today’s Morning Brief
Today, Ding Fire sits in Si, and the fire energy is strong. On days like this, the most common problem isn’t missing the move—it’s emotions running ahead of judgment, with your hands moving faster than your brain. So today my strategy is just one word—wait.
Bitcoin is now 63,954. It tried to push to 65,000 yesterday but failed to hold. Today, first I’ll see whether it can defend the support below. For support, I’m looking at 63,700 to 64,000 first. Below that are 63,000 and 62,000. For resistance, I’m watching 64,500 first. If it breaks through, then 65,000 to 65,300. Only above that is 66,000. To re-claim 64,500 is what gives it the资格 to attack 65,000 again. If 63,700 can’t hold, then 63,000 will most likely need to be fought again.
Ethereum is still at 1,625, and it’s clearly weaker than Bitcoin. As long as Bitcoin hasn’t confirmed a direction and Ethereum hasn’t stopped the selloff, I’m not in a rush to call for an altcoin season.
As for the U.S. stock market: Dow at 53,976, S&P at 7,753, Nasdaq at 26,605. The index trend hasn’t broken, but CPI on August 12 is right around the corner. At this position, chasing is usually not a good bet. After the data comes out, how capital chooses matters more than the data itself.
Gold at 4,409 has already pushed into the 4,400 area. The trend is indeed strong, but the long side is getting more crowded. For downside support, look at 4,380 to 4,400. Below that are 4,350 and 4,300. For resistance, watch 4,425, 4,450, and 4,500. For gold, I’ll repeat the same thing: wait for a pullback—don’t chase a straight-line move.
Today, focus on guarding against three risks: a fake breakout in Bitcoin, capital rushing ahead before the CPI, and oil prices continuing to push up inflation expectations.
To sum up: For Bitcoin, watch the two key levels of 63,700 and 65,000. For gold, watch 4,400 and 4,450. For U.S. stocks, wait for the CPI to land. I’m not afraid of missing the first K-line—what I’m afraid of is having your position already fully loaded before the data comes out.
Where do you think Bitcoin goes next—breaks above 65,000, or pulls back to 63,000? Put your bet in the comments.
