According to Jin10, Anthropic said it had asked an unreleased research version of Claude to try to solve the Riemann hypothesis. Although Claude did not prove the famous mathematical conjecture, it made progress on related problems and raised the lower bound on the share of zeros of the Riemann zeta function that satisfy the hypothesis from 41.6% to 67.2%.
