After several months of irregular inflows and higher volatility, spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States recorded their week with the highest capital inflows since April, accumulating more than $800 million in net inflows. The momentum coincided with renewed expectations for interest-rate cuts by the Federal Reserve following recent economic data in the U.S., which has restored institutional investors’ appetite for risk assets.
Despite the strong injection of institutional capital, the price of BTC has remained consolidated near the US$65,000 area, suggesting that purchases of ETFs are absorbing a substantial supply in sell orders above.
