A few recent messages in the crypto space are definitely worth discussing.

First, let’s talk about Grayscale. The firm quietly withdrew its ETF applications for ADA, DOT, and HEDERA—there wasn’t even a ripple. Honestly, this isn’t surprising. Market interest in these coins has already been cooling, so institutional capital will naturally move toward directions that feel more certain. They’re not going to spend resources on these fringe projects. Cardano fans may be disappointed, but this can also be taken as a signal: on the ETF path, it’s hard for anything outside the mainstream to get through.

As for Solana, there are two pretty interesting pieces of news. Jupiter launched Lend v2. The core idea is that both deposited assets and borrowed assets can be directly turned into trading liquidity, with returns and leverage tied together. It sounds flashy, but designs that create money-to-money cycles can deliver high profits when the market is good—when the trend reverses, the risk can be amplified just as dramatically. Regular users should think carefully before jumping in. Also, in the SOL ecosystem, there’s Solstice Finance. It splits the yield from Strategy’s preferred shares into two tokens—one representing lower risk and the other higher risk—for sale. It feels like it’s charting a route to “tokenize” traditional financial product chains, which is fairly novel.

Finally, Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) has some very interesting moves. It sold 1,690 BTC, then raised $650 million by issuing MSTR stock. Its USD reserves rose to $4.65 billion. Its BTC holdings were reduced to a bit over 840,000 coins. Tom Lee also said a looser financial environment is good for crypto, but the CLARITY Act didn’t pass. The company is increasingly starting to look like a listed shell built around BTC holdings—every operation it makes stirs market sentiment.

Institutional activity here actually says a lot: where the money flows, where the market has stronger confidence.

What do you think about the direction institutions are positioning now—does it have any reference value for retail investors? Feel free to chat.
