#bstockscis An interesting moment in Binance bStocks that you should know before your first purchase: bStock is not a typical stock in the classic sense.

In essence, it is a tokenized certificate backed by an underlying share on a 1:1 basis. Therefore, the price of this asset is tied to the price of the corresponding stock, but the owner of bStock does not become a shareholder of the company in the traditional sense—for example, they do not have voting rights.

I think this is an important distinction that’s easy to overlook if you treat bStocks just as another way to buy stocks. Here, traditional financial-asset features and crypto infrastructure come together: bStocks run on BNB Chain, and the format itself allows them to be traded 24/7.

For me, this is exactly what makes the concept compelling: the familiar idea of investing in stocks gets a completely different infrastructure and accessibility.

What do you think—could this format in the future become a full-fledged alternative to a classic brokerage account?
