What to add to a semiconductor portfolio besides NVIDIA if the AI boom continues? 🤔

Even within a single sector, diversification matters. Companies profit from different parts of the AI boom, so it’s important to understand which segment of the industry each one is covering.

$AMDB (AMD) — the closest alternative to NVIDIA in AI computing. AMD posted $10.3 billion in revenue, and its data center segment grew by 57% year over year. At the same time, the company also earns from processors and the gaming segment.

$MUB (Micron) — a bet on memory. The company makes DRAM, NAND, and HBM for AI accelerators and is already supplying the new generation of HBM4. Here, it’s not as important who wins the GPU race. Memory is needed by everyone.

$TSMB (TSMC) — a bet on manufacturing. NVIDIA and AMD design advanced chips, but a significant portion of them is produced by TSMC—the world’s largest contract semiconductor manufacturer.

In #bStocksCIS , there are other options too. Intel has its own manufacturing, ASML creates chip-making equipment, and Broadcom works on networking infrastructure.

So an AI bet can be split between computing, memory, and production. 📊 Different tickers don’t yet guarantee diversification. Different sources of revenue are already much closer to it.
