#bstockscis Trust, but verify — it seems I finally figured out how this works in the crypto space.🤓
For a long time, I just believed that $NVDAB is backed 1:1 by a real NVIDIA share, because it’s written on the site. But having a minute, I decided to check anyway—what if it’s not quite as they say? I’ll share how I did it: I went to the Proof of Collateral page. There, every day they publish how many bStocks tokens have been issued and how many actual shares are held in the custodian’s custody. I found NVDAB in the list and compared the numbers: the amount of tokens in circulation and the number of shares in the backing match exactly, one for one. I calmed down 😮‍💨, because these are data that update daily and that anyone can verify—even without opening the Binance app. It’s convenient—you can open the page and see the numbers yourself, instead of just trusting the broker. Quick action that keeps my peace 😌.
And have you ever checked the backing of your bStocks yourself, or did you just take their word for it too?😏
