I opened the market data last night, and CYS dropped directly by almost 20%. The orders I had placed were sitting there without any movement. When I came back to check, it had already fallen to 0.89.
To be honest, this kind of drop isn’t small—nearly a 20% decline within a single day. Many retail investors would probably be panicking. But when I looked at the trading volume, it was only 0.35 billion, which is much lower than when things were active before. With volume that low, it suggests there weren’t massive sell-offs. More likely, the buyers simply disappeared—there was no one stepping in to take the other side.
The momentum index is 31, slightly weak and neutral. There’s no oversold signal, and there’s also no clear bargain-hunting opportunity. The trend is moving in a downward channel, and in the short term, I don’t see a reason to expect support.
For my own approach in this kind of market, I’d first stay on the sidelines. Don’t rush to bottom-pick. A 20% drop hurts, but if volume doesn’t expand, the rebound’s momentum will be quite limited. It’s easy for it to fall, but getting it back up requires money willing to enter.
For those of you currently holding CYS—are you planning to keep holding, or have you already cut your losses?
