The coin with the most outrageous surge today is BLOXWAP.
These +100% and above moves are definitely the kind that make you want to click in at first glance.
But I won’t judge based on the percentage alone. For coins that suddenly jump to the front like this, you first need to check whether there’s real trading volume backing it up.
Rising quickly doesn’t mean it’s a good entry. In many cases, the more beautiful the percentage move looks, the more uncomfortable the people who come in later will be.
If $BLOXWAP can hold sideways at the high level—not just spike upward with a single needle-like move and then dump—then it’s still worth observing.
But if it starts shrinking volume, printing long upper wicks, and wildly sweeping back and forth, I won’t chase hard at this kind of position.
Being #1 on the gainers list doesn’t mean it’s a safe spot.
$IFF.US is also very strong today.
Its rise isn’t as extreme as BLOXWAP’s, but it’s still very high.
The biggest risk with coins like this is that you see it still going up and think you’re still early—then after you enter, you realize that earlier leg has already played out.
IF I only consider whether it’s being supported; if there’s no support, I won’t touch it.
$POWER , I’ll put it separately on my watchlist.
It has a Binance Alpha trading competition, and the event is still within its cycle. At least this kind of catalyst suggests that people will be paying attention to it in the short term.
But you can’t just look at the announcement tickets; in the end, you still need to see the chart—whether there’s buying interest following through.
If there’s only news but no support, don’t force a trade.
My decision today:
BLOXWAP: I watch for extreme upside.
IF: I watch for strength from the second-tier.
POWER: I watch whether the Alpha event can actually pull in new buying.
