When the market is good, people swap all their USDT into crypto. But once there’s a 15–20% pullback and you have no bullets to add, you can only watch—sometimes even panic and cut losses.
Right now, no matter how good the market looks, I keep 30% in cash in my position: if there’s a big drop, I can buy the dip and lower my average cost; my mindset stays steady; and if there are extreme opportunities, I can act.
Going all-in is betting that it will only go up and never down—but the market never moves that way. Keeping cash isn’t bearish; it’s giving yourself room for error.
