XRP is currently around 1.04u. It just bounced a little from the lows, with a gain of less than 2% over the past 24 hours.

I interpret this move as an oversold rebound/repair rather than a trend reversal. Price is still a bit away from the 7-day high at 1.09—there’s still some distance to cover. The moving averages remain overhead, and the MACD is also in a bearish configuration. Technically, this is only a temporary breather.

The key issue is that flows are fighting each other. The news flow is indeed somewhat supportive—stories about XRPL collateralized lending and ETF institutions posting collateral have come out, and KOL sentiment is also pretty high. Whale accounts have over 70% in long positions. But on the spot side, large orders have seen net outflows over the past three hours of nearly 150 million. Not even a single net inflow candle can squeeze through, and aggressive buying is still outweighed by sell pressure.

In plain terms: everyone talks like it’s bullish, but real money is actually moving out. The more crowded the long positions on derivatives and leverage become, the more margin borrowing keeps rising. If price doesn’t follow through, this crowding can actually amplify volatility.

So at this level, I’m not in a rush to chase longs, and I also don’t think it’s time to short. The rebound looks like it’s there, but the pickup capital hasn’t arrived yet. I’ll wait for a pullback and see whether support can hold near the lower levels and whether spot funds will come back, then decide the direction.
