$ICP This 15-minute level surge is kind of interesting. Volume energy directly expanded to more than 5.5 times, and the price also broke above the upper bound of the range over the past ~20 candles. It looks like something might be brewing.

But what’s interesting is that the contract open interest is actually falling. Both short-cycle OI and the 1-hour level are negative, while the notional change only increases slightly. This “rising + reducing positions” combo looks more like a行情 forced by short-covering, rather than truly new longs stepping in to drive the move.

The aggressive trade imbalance is -15.9%, and the buy/sell ratio is pushed up to 1.38—so there is definitely capital actively taking orders on the bid. However, the pool’s abnormal percentile also surged to 93.3%, ranking 6th. At this level, it’s already right at the edge of the historical extreme zone. Chasing higher carries significant risk—you need to be careful not to become the bag holder.

As for me, I’ll just watch from the sidelines for now, and only consider taking action after a pullback confirms support. What do you think—was this a genuine direction choice, or just a quick pin-tap for liquidity?
