Deribit’s DVOL (Deribit implied volatility index) is now down to around 35, while the early-year peak was 90.
That means the market expects that over the next 30 days, BTC is unlikely to change much.
The good news is that BTC is becoming more and more like a mature asset—its “digital gold” similarity score +1;
The bad news is that the disagreement is so small. Usually, it’s not that everyone has figured things out—it’s that nobody’s interested anymore.
