š Donāt rush to trust just because the other party sends a transfer screenshot
A pretty common mistake when doing Binance P2P transactions is seeing the counterparty send a screenshot showing a successful transfer, then assuming the money has already been credited to your account.
In my opinion, screenshots arenāt the final proof. When selling crypto on P2P, you should check your own bank account directly and only confirm the transaction after youāre sure the money has been received.
A few rules I always remember:
Donāt rely on transfer screenshots sent by the buyer.
Donāt provide OTPs, passwords, or any sensitive information to anyone.
Donāt click on any strange links sent via messages.
If anything seems unusual, keep the transaction as-is and use Binanceās Appeal feature.
Only trade and exchange information within the Binance P2P system.
Taking a little more time to verify is better than losing money due to over-trust. Safe P2P starts with self-verifying everything.
