The Binance network (BNB Chain) achieved a new milestone after surpassing Tron (TRON) to become the largest blockchain network in terms of the number of wallets holding stablecoins.
According to data from “Token Terminal,” the number of wallet addresses holding stablecoins on the Binance network has risen to about 79.3 million addresses, surpassing Tron, which has around 76.1 million addresses.
This development comes after the number of stablecoin holders on the Binance network rose from about 42 million addresses in late 2024 to nearly 80 million currently, an increase of roughly 54.5%. Meanwhile, Tron recorded slower growth, allowing the Binance network to seize the lead.
The number of stablecoin holders is among the most important indicators of networks’ real-world usage, given that these coins are widely used in payments, trading platforms, and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.
In the global ranking, Ethereum came in third place with about 26 million stablecoin holders, followed by “Celo” with 24.5 million, then “Polygon” with 21.7 million.
Despite this achievement, the momentum has not been clearly reflected in the price of the BNB coin, which is currently trading near $586.
Technically, the coin has regained its 20- and 50-day moving averages while facing key resistance at the $602 level, which is the 100-day moving average.
Analysts believe that breaking through this barrier could pave the way for targeting the 200-day moving average near $647, especially as the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has improved to above 53, despite trading volumes remaining relatively low.
