International crude futures settled higher on August 7, 2026, with the September WTI contract up 1.15% at $78.18 a barrel and the October Brent contract up 1.29% at $83.55 a barrel, according to Jiemian News. For the week, WTI fell 7.67% and Brent dropped 4.98%.
