The memory sector dominated the month. SanDisk, SK Hynix, Micron, and SOXL contributed to nearly 81% of market growth, with demand for memory chips continuing to rise.
Equity volumes more than doubled in July, reaching $477.1 billion, representing 64.7% of the tracked RWA perp market. Commodities grew by 15%, but they lost market share as equities expanded at a faster pace.
Binance and Hyperliquid together accounted for 70% of the market. OKX more than doubled its volume and secured third place at $100.7 billion, achieving the largest share gains among major platforms.
CXMT was traded as a perp contract for thirteen days before trading began publicly.
Its listing in Shanghai closed up 465.8%, making it the most valuable company listed on a mainland Chinese exchange.
