The virtue of remembering Allah Almighty is عظيمة (great). It brings peace to the heart, Allah’s companionship with the one who remembers Him, and forgiveness of sins. Among its most prominent merits is that it is the best and purest of deeds in the sight of Allah, a means to attain tranquility (sakeenah), and salvation for the servant in this world and the Hereafter.
