#bstockscis I thought the entry to Tesla was a threshold of $300+, but in reality the threshold is only $5, so I decided to try it myself first.
With a balance of 8.4 USDT — an amount I would previously not even have looked at when it came to stocks.
I opened $TSLAB on Binance, and bought $5 worth as a test. At the current rate (~$322 per TSLAB) it came out to about 0.0155 TSLAB—not much, but it’s a start. I understand this isn’t a stock, but it’s definitely a part of it—real, with its own price and its own chart.
At first I thought that fractional (partial) buying is something “budget,” for people who have very little money. But after analyzing the statistics for $TSLAB , I was a bit surprised:
More than 99% of all trades for TSLAB are fractional (less than one share per trade).
And it’s not just crumbs of volume: fractional trades account for 88.5% of the total trading volume #TSLAB .
So this isn’t a “mode for beginners.” This is how most people trade in real life.
From this I drew a conclusion for myself: if you put in $5 every week, you can do more—and in a year it will be $260+; that’s already a very tangible position in #TSLAB . Without ever having to “scrape together” for a whole share.
