Microsoft Emergency Warning: Hackers are spreading malware using BNB Chain!

Microsoft Threat Intelligence has just issued an alert: attackers are targeting the BNB Smart Chain to build a more resilient malware infrastructure⚠️ They first hack legitimate websites, inject malicious JavaScript, and then have these scripts communicate with smart contracts deployed on the BNB chain, reading the next-stage malicious payload from the blockchain. Because only the contract deployer can modify or delete contract contents, traditional “unplug the network” style blocklists are almost ineffective.

Victims are led to open the Windows Run dialog, paste the clipboard content to execute the hacker’s commands, and may ultimately end up infected with credential-stealing trojans, with account passwords stolen—or even targeted by ransomware. Microsoft reminds: never copy and paste commands from captchas, pop-ups, or emails🔒 Click the profile icon to see more messages
