#bstockscis Went digging into bStocks-as-collateral this week and, honestly, it's narrower than I assumed going in.

Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin, Portfolio Margin Pro — yes. Isolated Margin — no. VIP 3 and above only 🔒. You can deposit bStocks as collateral, you cannot borrow them. Fine, all reasonable so far.

The part that actually surprised me: haircuts aren't flat across the board. A volatile name like $MSTRB or $TSLAB gets discounted harder than something closer to an index-tracker. Which means $10,000 of TSLAB and $10,000 of a calmer bStock do not unlock the same borrowing power — same dollar amount, different real leverage. ⚖️

Is anyone here actually running bStocks as collateral day to day, or is this still mostly a spreadsheet exercise for most of us?
