The recipe is simple and applicable everywhere: provided there is a genuine willingness to eradicate crime: FORCE.

Nayib BUKELE, President of El Salvador:

“Once the State is freed from its complicity with crime, and it goes forcefully against criminals, it will defeat them.
The only way to solve the problem is through FORCE. With the force of the State – every State is stronger than the criminal groups present in its territory. There is no State incapable of fighting against criminals.
If a state can't tackle crime, it's either because the state is complicit, or parts of the state are in on it.
In El Salvador, I was told: 'President, the solution to violence is to invest in education and opportunities!' I replied...these criminals aren't waiting 4 years to hit kindergarten. These criminals have already graduated from the University of CRIME.
