$ACE surged 96% in a single night—meanwhile, NFP fell 66% at the same time, almost halving. What does this kind of “ice and fire” market say?
First, let’s talk about the insane move of $ACE . The trading volume was only 27.6M—honestly, not that big. Getting a run-up like that means either the project team bought it themselves, or a whale/market maker was basically “playing both sides.” I didn’t chase it. Chasing this kind of stock is basically handing money to the market makers—stay calm.
As for the way NFP is dropping, that’s interesting. The volume at 3.8M isn’t small, and a -66% drop isn’t just a pullback anymore—this is liquidation/panic selling. The coin price went straight from 0.0053 down to 0.00181, a single knife that cut down to the ankle. Such a sharp selloff is either insider news causing early exits, or leveraged long traders getting wiped out and forced to dump.
BTC today is down only about 1%. The funding rate of 0.0024 is still fairly healthy, and there hasn’t been a large-scale battle between longs and shorts. In times like this, smaller coins are more likely to move independently—but I urge everyone to hold their hands. Too many cases show people “bottom-fishing” a crashing coin at mid-slope and ending up getting trapped.
Opportunities? I didn’t see any. Traps? Everywhere.
Do you think $ACE can keep “living” with this kind of low-volume pump?
