The geopolitical situation’s script really feels endless. The shipping issues in the Strait of Hormuz aren’t resolved yet, and European natural gas prices have directly jumped to more than 6 times the U.S. level—I’m honestly worried for the Europeans. Iran hasn’t been idle either: the Houthis keep bombing Saudi oil tankers, and now even the Red Sea shipping route isn’t safe. To be frank, this storyline is moving too fast—oil prices are heading toward 80.

In the end, gold has already risen more than 4%, and the signal is clear enough. Funds are all looking for places to hide from risk, and this inflation pressure is likely to persist.

Given all this, what will $BTC do? Historically, whenever geopolitical risks heat up, Bitcoin tends to rise alongside gold. After all, when the traditional financial system turns into a complete mess, capital still has to find alternative options.

That said, trading in the Asian session is so sluggish right now that volatility probably won’t be too big. I really can’t make random moves—I'll wait for the open in Europe and the U.S. to see the real sentiment. For now, all I can do is hold steady and don’t go all-in.

If the situation continues to escalate, it probably won’t be over anytime soon. Being cautious can’t hurt.
