Lost more than 600,000 in half a year—direction was right, yet the money is gone? The truth is: the harder you try to get it back, the faster you die!
When I first started trading contracts, I pulled up my trades to review them, and I realized it wasn’t a market issue at all—it was my own problems:
Too impatient: I chased after the surge and got hit by a pullback right after entering. It wasn’t that the direction was wrong—my entry was just too hasty, and I didn’t give the market room to move!
Stop-loss too rigid: I would exit after losing a fixed number of points, but every day I got swept out by fake breakouts, and my mindset completely collapsed. Later I understood: stop-losses should be based on market structure, not on dead numbers!
Position size too heavy: Once I went all-in, making money made me feel invincible, but when I lost money I couldn’t bear to leave. Even an ordinary candlestick could throw off my account’s rhythm!
After a painful lesson, I set three iron rules for myself:
Split the position—never stake all your chips on a single opportunity! Use a logical basis for stop-loss, don’t stubbornly hold, and don’t cut randomly out of fear! If you can’t read the market, it’s better to rest—never trade just for the sake of trading!
With these three rules, over the next year my account slowly recovered. In this industry of contracts, the biggest advantage is being able to control yourself!
I’m Mishu. No bragging, no empty promises—just real experience that can help you survive in this circle. Follow me and let’s make you earn with a clear head!
