Before $ZBT , this wasn’t in the mainstream’s radar. Today, being able to simultaneously make it onto both the spot gainers list and the futures gainers list isn’t as simple as one-sided trading volume getting amplified. The spot price is at $0.1288; over the past 24h it moved from $0.1028 up to a high of $0.1332, a 20.486% increase—first it grabs attention.

But what I’m watching is the structure. Spot 24h trading volume is $5.53M, while futures volume is $20.53M; the futures/spot ratio is 3.7x. This suggests that the funds chasing this coin today are mainly in derivatives, not in spot. The funding rate is only +0.0050%, so it’s not heated to the point of running out of control, yet open interest has piled up to 80,220,203 ZBT. This combination looks more like short-term tactical positions being added, not a trend position built on steady turnover.

I’m not chasing longs, and I’m not shorting at the current price either. I’ve placed a short order around $0.1325, with a stop-loss at $0.1368, using a 2% position size. The reason is simple: the area around the high of $0.1332 has already been tested once, and futures volume is far larger than spot. After that, if the chasing price-action funds can’t keep up, the pullback will be fast. If it pushes through and holds above the prior high with increased volume, I’ll cancel my order and won’t stubbornly fight it.

If you’re trading coins like the ones on these leaderboards, first figure out whether they’re bought up in spot or pushed up in futures. $ZBT #ZBT
