Originally, BNB was all recharged, and I planned to go to the BSC trenches for a big fight tonight. But when I saw a16z's article "Why Did We Raise $15 Billion?", I suddenly lost interest.
Upon reflection, staying up late to play these doomed-to-zero MEMEs seems pointless, just feeding each other shit with a bunch of gamblers💩, that's all.
Look at the VCs in the Chinese community. Either they disappear without a word, or they buy MEMEs and shout orders, like this morning when the BSC foundation bought $50,000, I can't believe it.
Then look at the foreigners at a16z, truly, there's no harm without comparison! They raised $15 billion to invest in fields like Growth, Apps, Infra, bio+health, Crypto, and AI.
Then the article had a few shocking points for me:
1. Elevating investment in Crypto to a key framework parallel to AI must be led by the United States.
2. Acknowledging that the technology sectors a16z invests in are in fierce competition with China.
3. Believing that if the U.S. loses in technology, it will lose comprehensively in economics, military, and geopolitics. a16z's mission is to ensure the U.S. wins the next 100 years.
4. Warning that if the regulatory direction for Crypto/AI is wrong, the U.S. will lose its leadership position.
If this declaration of intent is implemented well in the future, the crypto community will have to play with a16z, because they are likely to tell many new stories, far beyond MEMEs.
