Circle said its open blockchain network Arc for global financial markets is scheduled to launch on public mainnet on September 16. According to Odaily, Arc is currently running on a private mainnet and has attracted more than 100 institutions and ecosystem participants. BlackRock, DTCC, Galaxy, Global Payments, ICE, Mastercard, MoneyGram, SBI Group, Standard Chartered, Sumitomo Corporation, and Visa will serve as Arc genesis validators for network security and governance.
