Gold futures rose during the U.S. session
Gold futures rose during the U.S. session on Tuesday.
According to COMEX’s classification for the New York Mercantile Exchange, December gold futures traded at USD4,138.15 per ounce at the time of writing, up 1.16%.

They had previously traded higher session on USD4,162.95 per ounce. Gold may find support at USD4053.90 and resistance at USD4180.20.

The U.S. Dollar Index, which measures the performance of the American currency against a basket of six other major currencies, fell by 0.04% to trade at USD99.75.

At the same time on COMEX, the September silver price rose by 3.52% to trade at USD59.90 per ounce, while the September copper price rose by 1.38% to trade at USD6.63 per pound.
