#baby $BABY
I’ve been following @Babylon these past days, and I have to say that $BABY has started to stick in my mind.
The whole idea is simple, but there’s something ingenious in it. Most Bitcoin is simply sitting there, right? Babylon lets you deposit your actual Bitcoin natively—without wrapping, without bridges, and without giving up control—then uses that security to protect other chains. It feels like you’re giving Bitcoin a real job rather than just being digital gold.
They run their Genesis chains. They use them for gas and governance, and you can deposit them alongside your Bitcoin to get additional rewards. The dual-deposit setup is clear and clean. Plus they’re working on those trustless vaults, so Bitcoin starts working as collateral in DeFi without the usual headache.
I’m not saying it’ll get to the moon tomorrow or anything like that, but the foundation looks solid. Talking about the utility of Bitcoin has been around for a long time, and this one delivers without the usual compromises.
This is just my take after looking into it. Curious: where does it go from here?
