PANews August 4 news: Huang Renxun posted on the X platform announcing the launch of Alpamayo 2 Super, an advanced open-source inference model for the autonomous driving field developed by NVIDIA.

Huang Renxun said that Alpamayo 2 Super can not only “see” the environment, but also understand and reason about complex worlds, think ahead before taking action, and can serve as a core model for robot taxis, autonomous trucks, shuttles, delivery vehicles, agricultural machinery, and future large-scale mobile robot systems. The model will be based on OpenMDW-1.1 and made available for commercial use, allowing developers and enterprises to inspect, fine-tune, and deploy the model. Huang Renxun said that open models help improve the safety and reliability of autonomous driving systems.

He says the next wave of artificial intelligence will belong to robotics technology, and that autonomous vehicles will be an important starting point for this trend.
