Non-custodial Bitcoin cross-chain bridge Boltz said its exchange service will remain closed until further notice. According to Foresight News, the API is still available for collaborative refunds, while unilateral refunds do not rely on its infrastructure.

The company said it has faced automated, AI-assisted infrastructure probing over the past few months and handled multiple contained attacks. It added that attackers have been iterating faster than its team can patch vulnerabilities, with the pace accelerating recently.

After security scans, Boltz said it could not responsibly re-enable the service. It also said user funds are not at risk because the service is non-custodial, and any losses will be borne by the team.

Bull Bitcoin later said its on-chain Bitcoin and Liquid send-and-receive functions are operating normally, but Lightning payments and Liquid-to-Bitcoin conversions are temporarily unavailable. The company said, as a member of the Liquid Alliance, it can convert L-BTC to BTC without a third party, ensuring user funds do not remain stuck.

Bull Bitcoin said it has immediately reprioritized work and is evaluating and launching several options to restore the affected functions.
