Binance founder **Changpeng Zhao (CZ)** has stated that the price of Bitcoin reaching $200,000 is the 'most obvious thing in the world,' and a few days later, analyst Rekt Fencer also predicted that Bitcoin could reach a maximum of $240,000 by the end of 2026.
What happened: CZ's $200,000 forecast
Zhao, better known as CZ, made this bullish prediction while the price of Bitcoin is still trading significantly below its all-time high. He acknowledged that the timing of such a rally is uncertain, but he believes that eventually reaching that milestone is inevitable.
This former exchange representative's remarks came amid changing U.S. regulatory environments. The Senate Banking Committee is reviewing the CLARITY bill, but the scheduled vote on January 15 has been postponed.
CZ also cited the **Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)**'s decision to exclude virtual assets from the priority risk list in 2026 as grounds for optimism, referring to it as a potential 'super cycle' for virtual assets.

CZ is not the only one with an optimistic view of Bitcoin's future.
Rekt Fencer, a virtual asset analyst with over 336,000 followers on X, shares a similar perspective and has provided a more specific timeline.
He predicts that Bitcoin could reach $200,000 before the end of 2026, and according to his price chart, the potential target could be as high as $240,000.
Fencer believes that Bitcoin can once again replicate the explosive growth seen during the bull market of 2020.
