Odaily Planet Daily News: This weekend, Micro Connect Financial Asset Exchange (MCEX) was launched in Macau. It is a blockchain-driven exchange founded by former Hong Kong Exchange CEO Li Xiaojia and supported by the venture capital arm of Agricultural Bank of China and Li Ka-shing's Horizons Ventures. Micro Connect uses a novel digital asset to provide financing for micro and small enterprises in China, especially consumer-facing businesses such as restaurants, retail stores and sports clubs. The daily revenue obligation (DRO) represents the right to receive revenue from SMEs, and the funds are repaid through daily tracking of revenue through point-of-sale (POS) solutions and bank data.
