The city of São Paulo will host the MERGE São Paulo 2026 from March 17 to 19, a global conference on Web3, blockchain, and crypto assets that will bring together more than 5,000 participants and 300 speakers. The event will focus on the regulation of digital assets, stablecoins, and blockchain infrastructure in Latin America.

The program includes participation from institutions such as the Central Bank of Brazil, BNDES, Banco do Brasil, Santander, Itaú, Bradesco, BTG Pactual, and Visa, in addition to international regulatory entities such as the National Securities Commission of Argentina, CNAD of El Salvador, and the Bank of Credit of Bolivia.

Brazilian regulatory context

The event takes place at a time of consolidation of the regulatory framework for cryptoassets in Brazil. Thus, the discussions will address the practical impacts of regulation on market development, investment attraction, and institutional adoption of Web3 technologies.

“Brazil is experiencing one of the most significant moments in its recent history in terms of digital assets regulation. There is a concrete opportunity to build a model that stimulates innovation, increases legal security, and strengthens institutional trust,” says Paula Pascual, founder and CEO of MERGE.

Programming on four stages

The conference will distribute content on four simultaneous stages, covering topics such as stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, financial technology, compliance, and regulated innovation. Furthermore, the event will be held in Portuguese and English, with participation from professionals from Latin America, Europe, and the United States.

The official opening will take place on March 17 at Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, with an institutional event for 400 guests, bringing together authorities and C-level executives. On the 18th and 19th, the programming continues at World Trade Center São Paulo.

BeInCrypto will be the media partner of the event, with an exclusive 20% discount for its readers.

São Paulo as a regional hub

After the edition in Buenos Aires in 2025, MERGE São Paulo consolidates as the new regional hub of the event.

“Regulation is one of the pillars for market maturity, but it only works when built with dialogue, international vision, and real understanding of technology,” says Paula Pascual.

MERGE positions itself as a bridge between global ecosystems, connecting institutions, startups, regulators, and companies looking to expand operations in a structured way in the digital assets market.
