Today, only one item is scheduled: a procedural vote on a continuing resolution for H.R. 6500—there’s basically no connection to that crypto bill.
The issue now is that this week is the Senate’s last week before recess. Per the rules, to skip debate and go straight to a vote, you need at least 16 senators to sign a request. Even if the request is submitted on Wednesday, the earliest vote would be Friday—and even then, it would only be a vote on whether to continue moving forward, not the final passage.
After that, there are still a bunch of steps to get through: 30 hours of discussion, a formal consideration, and possibly another round of cloture (ending debate) votes.
