TRUSTLESS OR JUST DIFFERENT? 🤔🟠📊 $GRVT
I opened @BabylonLabs_io io today just to read for five minuts. Then one chart turned into another, and I ended up checking the real numbres instead of the slides.
TBV lets people use native BTC as collatral without wrapping or bridges. That's the big idea, and it's trying to reduce wrapped asset risk.
But the live data made me stop.#baby
DefiLlama shows about $2.61B locked, yet TVL has droped almost 19% in the last seven days. That wasn't the direcction I expected.
Then I looked at $BABY trading. Around $6.2M in 24h volume, but only 13% happend on DEXs. The other 87% came from centralized exchanges.
Nothing says TBV is brokken. The Taproot + ZK vault mechancis are seperate from where BABY trades. But it's intresting that the infrastrcture can be trustless while the token's price is still mostly shaped on centralized markets.
So now I'm left with one simple qustion.
