Babylon vs Traditional BTC Staking

When I first heard about Bitcoin staking I was like wait how. Bitcoin doesn’t even have staking built in like other chains

The old ways to earn on BTC always felt off to me. Either you send your coins to some platform or you use wrapped BTC. Both mean you have to trust someone else with your Bitcoin and that never sat right with me

Babylon does it different. It doesn’t change Bitcoin and it doesn’t create a new version of BTC. You keep your native BTC in your own wallet and still help secure Proof of Stake networks.

For me that’s the whole point. You don’t give up control

Traditional BTC earning relies on outside services. Babylon is trying to build around Bitcoin’s own security instead

And it’s not just about rewards. It’s about finding new ways to make Bitcoin useful without breaking what made people trust it in the first place. If this keeps growing BTC holders could get more options and self custody stays at the center
