Michael Kagan, chief technology officer of chipmaker Nvidia, recently expressed skepticism about the benefits of cryptocurrencies in an interview with The Guardian.

Kagan said that while Nvidia’s powerful processors are highly sought after in the crypto space, cryptocurrencies do not provide significant value to society.

In the interview, Kagan praised the merits of AI applications such as ChatGPT, arguing that they have greater potential for social impact than cryptocurrency mining. (U.Today)
