Brother Sun was born on July 30, 1990 in Qinghai. Later he settled in Huizhou, Guangdong. In 2007, he entered Peking University’s Chinese department, and then later transferred to the History department.
Many people think Brother Sun got into school because of the New Concept Essay Competition. In reality, Brother Sun’s college entrance exam score was over 650 with no bonus points. He took the national volume II exam for Qinghai’s general admission program. In his sophomore year, he still had only a little over 400 points. In one year, he climbed by about 200 points and made it to Peking University.
