My stance toward $TRUMP is crystal clear: I’m bearish, and at minimum I don’t want to chase it.

Not because it’s dropping—quite the opposite. It’s still green today: spot at $1.475, and 24h is also up +2.64%.

But this kind of green makes me feel uneasy.

On the news front, senators are sending stricter ethical rules targeting Trump’s crypto business to the White House. The most annoying thing about news like this is that it doesn’t necessarily knock the price down immediately—it just slowly tightens everyone’s emotions.

Especially for coins strongly tied to particular figures. Once the rules get tightened, the market easily starts imagining the restrictions, censorship, and exposure that may follow.

Honestly, what I fear isn’t that the bad news is already out.
What I fear is: it hasn’t happened yet, but everyone already knows it might come.

I just got out of the shower and glanced at it. DouDou is squatting by the keyboard, calmer than I am. Over here, I’m already starting to feel uncomfortable at this level 😅

The data isn’t exactly light either.

The spot trading for $TRUMP in a single day is only $5.25M, but the futures have run up to $35.19M—about 6.7 times.

Once a market like this gets carried along by emotion and leverage, it looks stable on the surface, but inside it’s actually fragile.

And don’t forget: today’s high is $1.479, current price is $1.475—basically hovering right at the intraday high. If you ask if it’s strong, then sure, it is.

But the closer it clings to the highs, the more likely someone will use the news as an excuse to slip out first.

I’m not saying it’s about to print a big bearish candle immediately.

I just feel that if it keeps pushing higher from here, it needs much stronger buy-side demand—otherwise it’s just propping itself up with emotion.

And ethical scrutiny—of all things—tends to make many people not want to hold for long.

So my choice is simple.

I’m not chasing. I don’t want to touch long positions. If you’re aggressive, you might go look for a lightly sized short to test—but personally I’d rather wait for it to show its weakness.

Markets flip faster than turning pages. Leave yourself some room. $TRUMP #TRUMP
