According to Yonhap, transactions of repurchase agreements among financial institutions increased about 10% in the second quarter from a year earlier, with turnover reaching 12,513 trillion won ($8.6 trillion) in the April-June period. The Korea Securities Depository (KSD) said the figure was up 10.1% from a year earlier, while the outstanding value of RP transactions stood at 273 trillion won as of end-June, up 7.78% from a year earlier.
