The Fall of the American Empire

Back in the 1940s, a Danish artist had already outlined in one of his main works the American essence and, why not, the American soul—when, having lost its creative and entrepreneurial strength, it went from an economic powerhouse to a state of social decline, where productive work was replaced by speculative bubbles. Today, what the media is trying to hide from the public are cities in social turmoil, epidemics like the one caused by Fentanyl, abandoned neighborhoods, gangs, corruption at governmental levels, sexual scandals, and every kind of possible decay. However, if we look closely, maybe all of that was already there, very well hidden, and today it is only a symptom of the great evil afflicting the United States.
