South Korea’s largest trading company is betting on Injective

POSCO International and LG CNS have selected Injective for a blockchain pilot in the Trade Finance area. For the first time, real trade receivables from real international transactions will be tokenized on the Injective blockchain—not test data, but actual transactions.

POSCO International is one of South Korea’s largest trading companies and operates more than 80 branches worldwide. After the pilot is completed in the second half of 2026, the company plans to define a framework for a phased rollout into day-to-day operations.

This is still a pilot. However, the first real use case has already been successfully completed—which is an important proof that the technology works with real trade data.

If the pilot scales successfully, Injective could become infrastructure for a portion of the global trade finance market—a market with an annual volume of several trillion US dollars.
