The crypto market slowed down on Friday after a strong week.
Dogecoin (DOGE) was the biggest loser, falling 4.5%.
Ethereum $ETH dropped 2.5%.
XRP and Solana (SOL) also fell about 2.5% each.
Bitcoin $BTC stayed stronger than the others, slipping only 0.6% to around $65,400.
Even with today's small drop, most major cryptocurrencies are still higher than they were a week ago:
Bitcoin is up 3% this week.
Ethereum is up 1.8%.
Most other major coins are also in profit, except Hyperliquid (HYPE), which is down 3.5%.
There wasn't any major news causing the price drop. Traders are simply taking a short break after the recent gains, while waiting for the upcoming US Federal Reserve (Fed) decision. This looks more like a normal market pause than the start of a bigger downtrend.
