What is commission rebate? Where does commission rebate come from?
Recently I found that many brothers don’t even know the basics of commission rebate, so I’ll do a quick rundown for everyone.
First, when you trade, you need to pay trading fees. Currently, for perpetual contract fees, it’s usually 0.06% (6 per 10,000); for spot, it’s 0.1% (1 per 1,000).
The 6 per 10,000 contract fee is 6 per 10,000 of your total position. If you open a 100x contract, that means the fee is 6% of your principal. For example, with 100 USDT (U), open a 100x contract: you pay a 6 U buying fee and a 6 U selling fee. In one round trip (entry + exit), that’s 12 U. Even if you open a position and then close it at break-even, you still have to pay 12 U in fees.
Commission rebate is obtained by filling in your unique invite code. Then, for every trade, your fee is reduced to 9.6 U each time, saving 2.4 U.
Don’t think 2.4 U is small. For a typical player with 1,000 U to trade for three months, your total fees could end up being comparable to or even exceeding your principal.
Our ultimate goal in trading is to improve our return rate and increase our trading win rate. Adding commission rebate for yourself is one of the most basic actions. For many people, most of their money is being taken away by fees. Even if you “win” or “lose,” the difference may not be as much as the fees.
